A mighty girl from Thailand who provoked a tech-house revolution in her country and then allured the global scene, to Berlin and Ibiza. A top-notch artist who electrifies the dancefloors with her
infectiously vibrant energy, impeccable mixing and uncompromised selection of percussive grooves. Endlessly tallented, purely self-made, contagiously passionate, strikingly attractive, internationally praised – that‘s Nakadia, one of the most sucesfull DJ ladies today.
With every, action-packed DJ set of hers, she creates a potent rollercoaster ride full of surprises.
Her sound is continuosly swirling between the elegantly built tension and an unexpected explosions.
Hypnotic melodies and deep chords sweep over massive, bass-driven rhythms and forceful grooves. She triggers boiling emotions and a bursting atmosphere that resonate in bodies and souls of the crowd long after the party.
She carries her unstoppable energy since childhood, while growing up in a poor Thailand countryside. Moving to the city of Korat and changing various jobs led her to a modeling engagement in Europe. A turbulent journey began one clubbing night in Germany 2002, when the sound of techno kicked her for the first time and she knew: This is what she wanted for her life. She devoted herself to find a perfect sonic fuse, by practicing on turntables she took back home. Gigs on the island of Koh Samui launched her internationally within the shortest amount of time. Crafting her techy sound without any guidance, in the country marked by mainstream only, she pioneered the rise of the underground, and conquered the rest of the world simultaneously.
As increasing crescendo of her totally self-made career, Nakadia pinned around 60 countries to the gig-list so far, performing far more than 1000 times. She magnetized legendary Watergate Berlin, Cafe D Anvers Antwerp, The Egg London, D Edge Sao Paulo, Lola Shanghai, just to name a few.
In February 2015, Nakadia invited legendary Sven Vath to play together in Koh Samui, burning down the beach of her “home island”. In summer 2015, she will be back on the ANTS Stage at Ushuaia Ibiza for the second season, being part of “theANTS colony” – voted Ibiza’s best event 2014.
Inspired by Berlin life since 2010, Nakadia’s superb productions are stepping up her impressive career even further. Check & Run Technasia Remix stayed within the Beatport Techno Top 40 for seven weeks. Carl Cox pointed out her track Signs of Happiness as a “Global warmer” at his “Ibiza Global” Radio show. The Journey, produced with legendary George Morel and released on Get Physical in February 2015, marked the year as the most prolific so far. And more EP’s are ready to be released on Heinz Music (May 2015), Kittball (July 2015) and other labels, till the end of the year.
From the sweet Asian girl behind the decks to a worldwide respected party-rocker, from the dark clubs to a the massive festivals, from Asia to Europe and back – Nakadia is taking her career step by step from one level to the next, and she is just getting warm.
